PBS Newshour 8 minutes. President Biden says we need a wartime approach to the pandemic? When can we get vaccinated? I got my first shot on January 21 – Moderna. I was very, very lucky, and feel some survivor guilt that I got mine ahead of people a lot older and sicker.
To look a little deeper at the Biden administration’s plan for the pandemic and just how steep a hill it has to climb, I’m joined now by Dr. Michael Osterholm. He runs the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, and he recently served on the Biden team’s Coronavirus Advisory Board.
I have been listening to Dr. Osterholm’s weekly podcast, The Osterholm Update Covid-19, since soon after it started in March 2020. He speaks to the audience very personally and is understandable. Focuses on current topics. About 1 hour each.
